Not a troll, but where is State? I can't believe Tennessee is ranked but not State.
As far as we go, No. 18 seems about right for the preseason.

As much as I like us being ranked, we're probably too high. We lost a ton of playmakers at the plate, our hitting coach and our Friday starter. We may be a top 20 team but there's just too many unknowns for me to think we should be at 18 right now.

I hope UGA decides to never give a shite about baseball. We'll continue raiding your state for 1 or 2 top players every year... All will be fair.

I feel the same way about SC.. D1 has us top 5 while most others have us ranked between 20-25.. I prefer the lower rankings because SC plays better with a chip.. We need to get our mean streak back. We became comfortable in the penthouse for a few years.. We lost a home regional to MARYLAND (first regional lost in Carolina Stadium) last season which seems to have awakened us again.

Well, we've given a shite before and we're giving a shite now via a stadium renovation and hiring Stricklin as HC.

There used to be red seats and bleachers, but the seats faded to pink pretty fast. When McGarity got here, he just opted to tear out all the old seats and bleachers and install all green seats. It's actually pretty nice considering. Black seats would be hot as hell.

Good for ya'll, there's no reason UGA shouldn't be elite in baseball. The only reason I can think of is commitment, and apparently y'all are working on that...

Looking forward to it! SC, Vandy, UF and UGA in the East will be fun... Even Kentucky manages to be competitive from time to time in baseball. I think they're building a new stadium too. I'll put the SEC East up against the West any day when it comes to baseball..

I understand your concerns about what we lost, but with the pitching staff and what we have returning, I don't think there are 17 teams better than Ole Miss. So, im okay with where we are ranked.
