Can you not remember who won the basketball tournament two weeks ago?

But we are currently debating if we are using Regular season champs, tourny champs, or both. I say we use both.

Well regular season wise we we're 3rd with like a 7-3-1 record.. however we avenged all 3 of those losses in the SEC tourny against UGA, UF, and LSU... so give it to us!

According to SECsports.com we also had the most overall wins as well.

Bass Fishing doesn't have a SEC tourney, but Alabama won the Bassmaster College Classic, which included some SEC teams in the field.

Vanderbilt was the current National Champ in Bowling three years ago

I stand corrected and you are right. Currently though, Vanderbilt is the only SEC team invited to compete for this years national championship in bowling

March 24, 2010

NASHVILLE - For the fifth consecutive year, Vanderbilt's bowling team is one of eight programs that will vie for the NCAA Bowling Championship in two weeks.

The NCAA announced its "Great Eight" field today via an on-line program that featured the second-rated Commodore team patched in live through video conferencing.

The other teams include host New Jersey City, Fairleigh Dickinson, Nebraska, Arkansas State, Maryland-Eastern Shore, Central Missouri and Delaware State. Nebraska, FDU, Maryland-Eastern Shore and Vanderbilt have all won past national championships. The teams are chosen by an NCAA panel and based upon an in-depth set of criteria that includes strength of schedule, head-to-head meetings and won-loss marks.

This is women's soccer right? If I remember correctly only 2 SEC teams (SC included) sponsor men's soccer and they have to play in CUSA.

I don't know. The official site of the SEC says South Carolina is the conference soccer champion.

Huh?

Only two sports I listed that were not on the official SEC site.

Auburn won Equestrian this weekend.
Vanderbilt is the only SEC team that will be competing for the National Bowling Championship this year. I'll remove both teams from the list, but if I do....no bass fishing.

On the official site for the SEC, Mississippi State is listed as the conference champion

Then it's wrong. UK is the SEC champion, and there is no doubt about it. For some reason I had in my head that Miss State had won the tournament, but after looking it up after posting, they didn't. UK won both the overall and tournament championships this year.

Posting bass fishing.

If anyone wants to add another sport that you can prove that you are the conference champion. I'll add that to the list as well.

It must be a miss print on the SEC site. Sorry, I was going by what they said. Changing basketball to Kentucky.
