Well ftr- he mentioned he used to be on the espn boards in a thread, then I asked him earlier this week if he went by 'prt' on espn and he said yes he did and...finally geting to the point-- prt on espn was a bama fan. But who knows tho?

I personally think those aren't that creative. Specific to Auburn "War Peacocks" is something I have literally never heard nor would I assume it to be anything other than something a juvenile would come up with...Calling Auburn the War Eagles is the easiest way to cut at an Auburn fan via Nickname. Auburn fans understand the genesis of the war cry, but it is frustrating at times how others don't understand it or choose not to accept our tradition of it. Even our main rival has an Elephant, but then yell's Roll Tide...despite being called the Crimson Tide. In my mind they have a similar mascot, cry scenario but everyone just seems to except it as ok.
As an Auburn fan I typically refer to bama fans as bam's. I suspect there is some intention to belittle them in it.
