why did he feel the need to even discuss her and her relationship with her husband? Some things should remain sacred... even in the cesspool of sports journalism.

can't stand Cowherd for the most part but found this pretty funny

" When one guy in the family makes 9 million and nobody else makes anything, the guy making 9 million decides when and where they move."

Why? I'd guess he felt the need to discuss her because every time him taking another job comes up its "Oh, Miss Terry won't allow it"

He didn't rip her at all. Linked article is dramatized bullshite

This. Its one thing to say things about Saban, but to come after his wife is a whole different story. That has gotten greater men's asses kicked.

Agreed... He DEFINITELY crossed the line with that...

As for Miss Terry and her impact on Saban's future decisions? She has little to no influence, he says.

"Where is she going to meet a guy making 10 million a year," Cowherd said. "Nick controls that. They go where Nick wants to go. He's moved her from East Lansing, to Miami to Baton Rouge ... really, she wanted to go to all those? He will decide where the family goes. When one guy in the family makes 9 million and nobody else makes anything, the guy making 9 million decides when and where they move.

"The lakehouse? Nick paid for that. The college degree? Nick paid for that. Well, the family and his wife ... he just puts that out there for the media to gargle on. It's mouthwash, it's nothing more. Nick's like 'Agent, how much can you get me in Indy? 10 million, 2 percent of the organization and Andrew Luck? I'll be on a plane in an hour.'"

Terry needs to kick Colin in the nuts.

If Nick wants to give Miss Terry a I'm moving get your stuff and get in the car he might want to think about 1/2 of everything he has could go to her. Someone said that Saban has 2 car dealerships. If he leaves her she will own one, and her lawyer will get the best one.
His mom, son, grandchild, and daughter now live in Birmingham,Don't see him in NewYork or Cleveland.

Eh he left ESPN on his own will. He wanted more control of his program. His racial comments just gave them an excuse to cut his last week or two short. The deal was already done. He is hard to listen to but he is no worse and probably better than finebaum but yall don't seem to have a problem with him. It can't be because he is just as crazy but in a pro-bama way.

I am genuinely curious as to your line of reasoning here.

I don't even listen to sports radio because it all seems to be a joke. Even local channels have guys that just say stuff to get people pissed. It would be nice if there was actually was a sports radio talk show that talked about sports with out trying to sound like a idiot.

Because that is what Saban calls her when talking with the media.

This is a fairly stupid statement . Cowherd is a fiscal conservative. He is a big time social liberal but overall he is the very definition of a moderate. Dude is hugely pro business. I'm don't know what he said about Walmart but there are plenty of conservatives that have mixed feelings about that company.

Did you hear his comments about Walmart? He is singing the socialist national anthem with his Walmart hate.

I bet y'all think Barrack is not a marxist radical.

Cowherd gives every prediction with a qualifier. That way he can always say he wasn't wrong. He's a tool, and I'm surprised how many Alabama fans haven't figured out his game yet. He wants you to be outraged, people. It gives him credibility

He is nothing more than Finebaum with a more national stage.

They are two peas from the same pod. Both are excellent at their jobs... which is simply, to bring in ratings. They will say anything, further any controversy, or predict outrageously at will in order to drive those ratings. It's really very simple.

His voice is HORRIBLE. I can't stand to listen to his nasally whining no matter what.

As for "Miss Terry" (that's what Saban and the players call her). I doubt she gives 2 shites about what this loser says about her.

Not trying to fight gossip with gossip, but I have always heard that Mrs Saban doesn't want to go back to the NFL - she liked being the First Lady of Louisiana and she loves being the First Lady of Alabama...
She has never told me that personally, so TIFWIW

A lot of people especially small town conservatives have less than a sparkling outlook on Walmart. Apparently you just started listening to him. He has been getting blasted for year by liberals for taking pro business stances. To the point of getting into arguments on air with liberal callers who take issue with him.

The guy is one of the big commodities in radio and makes a shite ton of money.

He was recently fired from ESPN. He's nowhere close to a big commodity. He's only quoted on forums such as this by people that just want to react to his idiocy. And that by the way, is all he has left.

Back when Meyer left UF he said he knew who the replacement was going to be, but would only give out some cryptic code word.

The guy is a hack.
