He gets exactly the reaction he is looking for. He doesn't believe what he is saying not one bit, but the gumps will go ape shite and call in on Finebaums's show and ratings go up, up. People like Phylis are to stupid and backwoods to get it.

That Cowherd sure seems like he has gotten a lot smarter over the last day or so.

Thank you Meno, but I didn't miss that because I'm stupid and backwoods.

For those who want to listen to interview
About 40 minutes, it was fairly interesting. Hyping Cowherds new book, talks about his background, CFB in general, Malzahn and Saban, a few other things.

Actually there is some truth to his argument but raise your hand if you want to take Auburn at even right now in T-town next year. Hell, I'll give you 10-1 on AU not winning both 2013 and 2014 NC's.
Any takers? Huh?
The point he makes about Saban getting beat by the unknown is a good one. He does soooo much better when he knows the other team's offense or is used to playing against it. AU is playing a great spread option read offense that we don't see that much. But remember the UF game in 09'? Similar spread offense and he whacked them after a full year of getting ready. So, that's my argument on destroying AU in T-town. He also had a year to get ready for JF and got lucky to win. But that was the second game in the season and we still had a lot of other problems to work on. If CC wants to hang his reputation on that then it's a big stretch IMO. I wonder if CC will admit he was wrong...
