I'm sure that if this turns out to be anything serious, then Upshaw will definitely be punished by being forced to sit out UT-Chattanooga. Or if a 2-game suspension is warranted, then possibly also the 1st half of North Texas.

Here's a link to local radio up here. One "witness" said he was suckerpunched by another guy in the apt complex they were at and he never hit back, but it's way too early and it should come out by the end of the day what happened from him or another party involved I would think.

Nah Im a lover not a fighter brah. Sounds like he wont have any charges pressed against him if the eyewitness story is true. Defenitely not good press for the bammers before the season starts though.

The guy that gave everyone the heads up on the arrest last night three hours before he was booked is saying that he was there at the time of the arrest and that the stuff about beer bottles, the sucker punches, some other guy being involved, etc. is totally not true.
I think it was him and that girl that was also arrested and no one else and people on the radio are just making stuff up. Let's just say that students have been posting that she was friends with lots of football players.

Well that would suck. I really hope someone gave him a cheap shot and he was just defending himself. If he just decked this girl,

If anyone had been injured or if he had used any weapons, the charge would have been one of the degrees of DV-Assault rather than DV-Harassment.
I doubt anyone got struck. Possibly pushed or shoved or slapped or threatened or something simple.

Well, I'm not saying she was part of this, because even the guy who gave us the heads up isn't giving out those details. He's only gone so far as to shoot down the bullcrap.
However, if she was arrested as part of that incident, it would probably mean she isn't free of fault either.
