South bracket looks insane with UNC, UK, UCLA, and Butler left. Likely facing KU in the final 4...ouch!

East bracket looks the most manageable and has 2 SEC teams in it (USC & UF). Odds are better that an SEC MNC rep comes from this side. No one from the West seems too daunting.

We have always seemed to play and respond better as underdogs in every sport...nobody thought we'd make it past Marquette, much less dook (including most of us, truthfully)...but after last night? I believe!

It almost happened in 1996 with Kentucky and Mississippi State.

Damn Marcus Bullard. State had just destroyed UK in the SEC Tournament and lose to an average Syracuse team.

It's happened before in baseball (twice) and football, so might as well have it in basketball.

Maybe... its possible definitely.

Xavier is under seeded, they could cause issues.

But UF and USC both play defense well.

Maybe, would be a coup definitely to get them into the final 4.

I truly believe UK has found their stride..

I will always remember this season. 2 of Florida's 4 or 5 losses were to UConn that season. I think UF beat UK like 3 times including the SEC Tourny. If they had met in the finals and UK won the melt would have been ridiculous

Only 3 losses that year. At Wisconsin and a buzzer-beater at UConn during the regular season and then UConn again in the Final Four. Great year, but a painful finish.

Unless Kentucky plays the worst game of the season against UNC they kick the Tarheels arse and take their wallets.

Honestly, Arkansas was a second tier SEC team this year with a handful of bad losses. Yet, despite that, but for some players having health issues and absurd calls by the refs, we beat UNC in their backyard.

Kentucky or Florida... or for that matter USC, should beat them like they caught UNC stealing. I am not the biggest Kentucky fan out there... outside of football... but I think they should skull drag UNC.

Almost happened in 2006 if LSU didn't shite the bed vs. UCLA. That LSU team was stacked.

Also in 2006 if LSU would have beat UCLA it would have been a Florida/LSU final.

Could also end up with Ole Miss winning the NIT as well. Lots of ball to still be played but it's possible.

Just stop dude. You aren't winning a chip lol. You beat an overrated Duke team lol.

I cannot wait til the deflation hits and all of you "out-of-no-wheres" disappear.

Wisconsin will have something to say about that. I think they could get all the way to the title game
