Circa 2000:
Can someone explain how Nick Saban (0 Big Ten Championships) is going to be any different for LSU than Gerry Dinardo (0 SECW titles)?

Hell Saban's record of 34-24 at MSU is almost exactly the same as Dinardo's at LSU 32-24!

Les Miles is a good coach. however, LSU became stagnant and a change was needed. Jimbo or Herman will fix the offensive issues that LSU has had. Not that hard to figure out why a change was needed

Jimbo has a ton of talent with FSU and has pretty much did the same as Miles in a weaker conference, just don't see it as a huge upgrade.

They both meet the most important of the criteria: Not being Les Miles

Now do their records the last 4 years.

I'll help you out:

Jimbo: 49-6
Miles: 37-14

we don't know if they will be better. but we know Les had an expired shelf life and I say that as a miles supporter. familiarity breeds contempt. and apparently the lack of a qb.

You created a thread to explain why you're a bitch?

That's one of the saddest things I've ever seen on this site........wow

Neither have coached in the SEC yet and have not had to face the kind of schedule that SEC coaches have to face. So they're still in good standing in their respective programs. Put them in the SEC for a few seasons and they'll be relegated to Miles' status.

In 2016 and beyond they are both better than Miles. If YOUR team had an opening and those three were your candidates, you'd have Miles as your third choice of the three.

That said, LSU has about a 25% chance of Herman (Tex would have to F it up first), and about a 40% chance of Jimbo.

You need to start asking if Miles is better than Fedora or other plan C candidates.
