IMO, South Carolina will really struggle against NCST DL.

16-14. They hardly kicked our @$$e$. We never should've lost that game.

Arkansas, Mississippi State, Ole Miss and Mizzou will be easy wins,

since when are early season games by these teams "easy wins" for them?

We sucked it up last year for certain but did not have anything at QB and a very shitty DC.

We will not repeat losing the opener this time around.

Never count out FSU. They are talented and not afraid of the SEC. I think Alabama will win, but FSU will make them earn it.

IF they find a way to give that QB protection, FSU will definitely make it a game against Bama, but I still see Bama pulling it out.

Well in 2016 the Pac-12 was Washington and no one else.
The Huskies entered the PAC-12 Championship with a worse conference record than their opponent Colorado. They won the division on the final week of the season vs rival Washington State, who would have represented the North with a win.

The ACC was Clemson and no one else.
Clemson and Louisville tied for their division, with CU holding the head-to-head tiebreaker. They didn't clinch a berth in the ACC Championship game until their last conference win on November 19th.

The Big 12 was Oklahoma and no one else.
Their rivalry game vs Okie State was for the conference title.

You could say that about any conference.
Not last year.

I see, I must be thinking of Pitt. I thought I remembered one of the triple option teams losing their OC this past offseason.

I think all sec teams will win week 1 except for Florida. The Bama and Carolina games should be close though.

A&M will start out hot and fade like they always do

Georgia tech has to replace their starting QB which is a big deal for them so UT should roll

LSU will destroy BYU. Comparing BYU to a 11 win Wisconsin doesn't make any sense

Wait...what?

Washington was 8-1 in conference going into Santa Clara, Colorado was 8-1. In what universe is 8-1 worse than 8-1?

Fun fact: The team that beat both schools in conference was USC.

LSU will have to save the conference once again.

I remembered incorrectly - I thought UW was 7-1 and the Buffs were 8-0 regular season. Mea culpa.

But that error doesn't affect my point: Bama was the only team that was clearly head and shoulders above the rest of the conference. All the other P5 conferences were competitive right to the end.

I do not know why they fired Sonny Dykes

I heard it was because of him interviewing at Baylor plus the problems with athletic funding compared to academic funding.
Sonny belongs at a football first school. I am interested in seeing if Kevin Sumlin is fired than if Dykes is hired

LSU was lucky to win the first time vs Wisconsin. The Badgers pretty much outplayed them in both games. LSU needs to stop looking in the mirror and think they see the 80s hurricanes

He wanted more money to hire assistant coaches. They wanted to be tree huggers.

Dykes is Sumlin v2.0. Why would you want him? Do you LIKE losing games 56-49?
