To be the perfect first black coach in bama history post saban? Seems unlikely right now with the Texans poised to be a contender for awhile but things happen NFL is hard…just imagining him on the recruiting. Just a name outside of the kiffin, sarks (never would happen), Kirby smart after failing with the falcons

I would take Demeco in a heart beat.

Saban probably has about 5 or so years left in him and by that time the dude will already have tasted enough NFL.

Come home Demeco.

I don’t know why a successful NFL coach would go to a college job in the current environment.

I’ve always thought Saban will wake up one day and realize he is only adding a few more lines to his Wikipedia page. There is more to life than just work. I’m not talking about playing golf. More like spending time with kids and grandkids.

Beyond that there is no replacement for the guy. Coaches like him come along once in a lifetime who live coaching every second of their lives. If the guy had gone into business he would be a billionaire by now. Who knows when it will hit him to go enjoy the fruits of his labor. Bear waited too late.

He's a coaching phenomenon. You could see it for a while, and last season cemented everything. Not sure how much Auburn even thought about it, but he's worth more than Saban money.

To be honest, I don't like racists and your concentration on someone's skin color points you out as a moron and neanderthal.

The next coach of Alabama will be a perfect midget coach of Alabama, not a perfect black coach as you mention.

Saban isn't a medically defined midget, this:

little guy is. To have the first true fricking perfect midget as Alabama's coach would be much more valuable, publicity wise, than the first perfect black coach.

Many teams have had black coaches recently, many of them perfect humans beings as you stated, and it's getting old.

But a real midget, man, that would be great and would show just how enlightened and progressive Alabama is as a state.

There could be Midget Appreciation Days, Midgets Built This State/Country Days, etc...

Alabama could even organize events like "The Running of The Midgets" instead of the Running of The Gumps.

It would be an absolute bonanza for recognition of Alabama's changed behavior and demeanor, much better than hiring just a regular black person.

Saban isn't a true midget; Saban is what is called a little person. Also, camera angles often make Saban appear smaller than he really is, as seen here:

As you can see, the real midget is always around, learning the trade from Saban and getting ready to take over the reins at Alabama.

I, personally, believe a midget hire would be much better publicity for Alabama than hiring someone just because they are black.

The mere mention, or thought, of hiring a midget as a head coach draws out the bigots and reveals the ugly face of intolerance of those not in your own "group".

Why can't a piddling little dwarf ever gain respect without the harrowing stares and snickers of overgrown buffoons leering at them and laughing at them?

Gnomes aren't just garden ornaments as you, in your vile hatred, may incorrectly assume.

You may wish to regulate shorties to cleaning the floors, washing jock straps, buffing helmets, and emptying the garbage cans but they are much more than that.

I've got an image of "the running of the midget gumps" in my head, and it's glorious.

Nailed it. Lost all cred when he brought up race over qualifications.

I would absolutely love Demeco to be Saban's replacement but I'd love to see how far he can take the Texans. He has a rookie of the year QB and if all things fall right could end up being only the 2nd AA NFL head coach to take a team to the Super Bowl. I don't want him to have to deal with the impossible task of following Saban but I would love for him to be the man after whoever takes over for Saban

I’m gonna start this off by stating I have no issue with Saban or Bama… I just don’t see him being around for another 5 years.

Put aside all the racial demagoguery that you and JamalMurry27 are actively engaging in and consider for a moment the midgets in our midst who never even get a second look for head coaching jobs.

Many midgets are hungry for just a chance to achieve what normal humans do. They don't want to even be pointed out and promoted, by vengeful dullards, as the first midget to do this or the 2nd midget to achieve this, etc...

They just want a chance, bro, just a chance to succeed and to grow tall as humans.

You don't hear Saban crowing about being the first white little person to win 7 national championships do you? And he isn't even a true midget, but he still just wants his achievements recognized, not his stature.
