Florida hires a new coach
LSU hires a new coach?
Arkansas hires a new coach?
Mississippi State hires new coach?

Auburn hires new DC
A&M hires new DC
USCe hires new DC

That's a lot of change at programs that aren't bottom dwellers (although UK and Vandy are basically the only ones in that category now).

IMO these won't change. But yes there's potential for a big shake up.

Honestly only see 1 school getting a new HC. 2 at the most.

Which means that most of those programs will be rebuilding for at least a couple of years...and that is good for Mizzou's future chances of reaching more SEC championship games.

I am kind of surprised we have not heard Mullins name more often.

He has done an impressive job at Miss St. He is a good coach and I would think schools would at least be talking to him.

I don't think Mullen is liked too much outside of Starkville.

Possible that Alabama gets a new DC, Kirby needs to get a HC job (maybe too late). Has to kill him to see Mc at UF

Yea, I was really curious to see if the UVA job came open if he would get a shot there as it seems like the type of job he would go after, but London is staying.

I think there aren't going to be a ton of opportunities going forward. People are (a) weary of the all-Saban, defensive tree and (b) nobody wants to hire a DC as a head coach.

That limits his spots, and he's been real picky about them the last few years. Probably going to have to change that.

Meh. Mullen has been good but not exactly impressive. His teams went 7-6 in his third year, 8-5 in his fourth, and 7-6 in his fifth. Most State fans were eager to give him the axe this time last year.

This year was impressive, aided by a cupcake schedule and a senior-laden team. They played only five teams with a winning record, going 3-2 in those games. Let's see if he can win eight-plus games in consecutive years, which he hasn't done yet after six years.

Believe it or not, there are plenty of schools that would like to have Mullen. Mullen isn't perfect but is exceptional in player development and qb recruitment. He is also very well connected and can get good assistants. People can't deal with that for some reason.

Why isn't Pinkel on anybody's list for new HC?

He seems kind of different. Good coach though.
