42-16
RPI: 12
18-13 v. RPI top 50.

Really the only thing UK has better than them on resume is one extra SEC win and a better SOS.

No. Top 8 is pretty much solidified at this point. Stanford swept Wazzu to finish 2nd in the Pac today at 21-9. They'll be #8 IMO.

Would be cool for Arkansas & LSU to play for it.

LSU can lose by 100 Spanberger homers tomorrow, they'll still be a national seed.

Because that means nothing.

We're not getting one either more than likely.

Who are we looking at for the top 8?

Oregon State will be the overall #1

2. UNC
3/4. Texas Tech or Louisville
5/6. TCU or LSU
7/8. UF or Stanford

Oregon State, UNC and Florida will be top 3 in that order.

4,5,6,7 will be between LSU, Louisville, TCU and Texas Tech with Red Raiders in the lead.

8 could be Stanford, UK, Southern Miss or possibly even Arkansas

Not saying it doesn't, but Arkansas has a better record against RPI top 50 teams, so it all evens out. A SEC tourney title could put them over UK.

I highly doubt we get 3 in. LSU and UF got those. We shite the bed, sadly.

Why?

Last year the SEC had 4 national seeds.

Honestly, though, we can host a super regional without being a top 8 seed if one of the other "1s" get knocked out of their regional and we paired with them. It's happened before.

No shite.

Arkansas has even hosted a super when the national seed won its regional on the other end.

I'm rooting for the both of us. We can root on one hand and shite in the other one....

Looking like a 2 bid for nationals this year. I'd love for either one of us to make it. Just don't see it.

That actually helps when it comes to baseball. The committee would love nothing more than to have a Super at Baum.

Sweeping a team with an RPI 115 and finishing 2nd in a conference that ranks 5th in conference RPI isn't exactly a ringing endorsement.

UK definitely has a case over Stanford and Southern Miss and Arkansas could too with strong finishes in their respective conference tournaments.

Like LSU, they are on fire right now. You could make a case for Arky AND Kentucky. I agree it probably won't happen though.
