How embarrassing for everyone involved.

quote:

Georgia fans are known for making themselves heard ahead of football games. In this case, they started their familiar sing-along tune at Indianapolis’ famous St. Elmo Steak House.
One fan began by shouting, “Ain’t nothing finer in the land, than a drunk, obnoxious Georgia fan,” as several Bulldog fans around him joined in, and finished with the familiar “Gooo Dawgs!”
Well, someone apparently didn’t appreciate
the sing-along, and called the police, who showed up to calm the crowd, and restore order to the fine restaurant

The only place I’ve ever been barked at was in the ghetto. This is trashy AF.

Not that embarrassing. Indianapolis folks should lighten up and understand they are hosting the CFP.

Knowing how rowdy NFL fans can get that probably frequent their establishment during NFL season, that had to be pretty bad to call the cops. .

It is Indy. Colts fans are pretty damn tame.

I understand that it can be annoying for people just trying to enjoy their meal, but the cops? Really? As long as they only did it once I don't understand the outrage

Unless they’re playing themselves, I imagine they have other teams’ fanbases visit there. They had the Raiders in Indy this year.

That chant is cool when you’re in school at Georgia, and you break it out at the tailgate while everyone is buzzing

I’ve been physically recoiling from all the videos of people calling the dawgs in planes and in nicer public settings. fricking dipshits

It is so much fun to see Auburn fans right now. What a terrible position to be in.

St. Elmo’s is one of the best restaurants in the country, and reservations for last night have been full for over 3 months. Imagine going out to such a nice dinner venue - with a several hundred dollar or more dinner bill, and getting barked at by a group of grown men.

Yeah, calling the Dawgs on a Sunday night in one of the nicest restaurants in Indy is low class as hell. Embarrassing behavior.
