I started a new tradition the other week at Auburn - waving around a rabbit from behind the plexiglass

It worked out better than expected

A&M and UF will have to duke it out for the title of "Best Swayers."

I've seen 'We are the Boys' in person. Pretty solid. Never been to an A&M game, but the sawing is one of their only traditions that doesn't sound lame.

Fun fact: I just graduated from LSU in May, and Dan Borne (our PA guy) read his poem about Saturday night in Death Valley as part of his commencement speech to us. It fricking rocked.

i've heard this (the being a-hole part) from numerous sources over a 40+ yr time frame. i'm starting to believe it myself. i see it as most LSU fans are extremely gregarious and like to take verbal shots (as well as liquid ones) at opposing team fans. but i'm ok with being an a-hole for that.

To be fair, I know some great LSU fans who keep me fat and happy when I'm visiting Louisiana. But we all know that there are some wacky coonasses in and about Tiger Stadium on a Saturday which are an embarrassment to humankind.

I take a history of southern football class at Alabama and yesterday we actually read the words of rocky top...that's one weird, inbred song.

I mean, a bear-cat woman? Killing the feds? Telephone bills?

Whenever people bash me for being from MS, I always have the hills of Tennessee to make me feel a lil better.

You have to love a fan base whose fight song celebrates life without commercial development, telephones, or electricity. And those pumpkin clad hillbillies actually call us inbred rednecks.
