He seems to do really bad with pressure in his face. I didn't watch much of Virginia Tech, but is that what was happening?

110 yards passing, <50% completion. Not a good day at the office.

The throw was going to Bell from the get go, so it would not have mattered if Williams went to the end zone. Saban or Nuss said in an interview A&M had been susceptible to that play in film they reviewed and thought it would work. The A&M guy just jumped the route.

Cooper ran a shitty route.

We've actually used the play with great success before on two- point conversions . Remember Barrett Jones jumping in the air like AJ overthrew him?

So did Bell. He didn't even really cut, just kind of sauntered towards the sideline. The throw was a little too far inside as well. Just terrible execution all the way around, and a great play by the A&M DB.

Well, if you want to win 3 out of 4 NCs, then yeah, its kind of a big deal...

The play you posted, had less to do with the offensive line and more to do with your DB scouting Bama's tendency in that position. AJ had another play earlier in the season, I think against Ole Miss, maybe someone else, where he threw the exact same pass, just to the opposite side of the field. It could have also been INT'd had the defender been looking. That was just a bad pass(shouldn't have been thrown), and a head's up play by the defender.

Damn, I never noticed that. Williams could have pulled a "Lutzy".

It would have also required AJ to have awareness and be able to throw on the run... something I'm not sure he's capable of.

No, no potential for bad shite happening there!

Hell no.

Gotta learn that throw to make it to the league though. They do that shiz on the reg.

AJ almost won the Heisman last year too... what a sham that would have been.

AJ doesn't look that great on the move to me... and he doesn't look great under pressure either?

Maybe not. But the play was designed to go there, he had no other "real" options outside of Cooper and Bell.

AJ actually throws well on the move. Is your one example the gif that you posted in the OP?

AJ is really good at throwing on the run. VERY good. And wa he good under pressure against LSU? What about Georgia? What about the pressure of playin in and winning 2 NCs? What about the pressure of going for 3 of them?

That is THE deal of football. He who winneth up front winneth the game. Always has , always will.

If Bama's offensive line plays like the opener, Bama loses. Period.

As far as last year Bama actually help up against A&m outside of the first 8 minutes.

It's just a weak troll. Hey, is scoring points really that big of a deal in football?
