So far the "Freeze cheating aspect" hasn't been proven or ruled upon by the NCAA. It's all just alleged for now.

This was self inflicted. I know that makes it hurt more.

Yeah, but he's lost all credibility, so it's pretty safe to assume that he was talking out his arse all this time regarding his denial of pay for play and improper benefits. I'm just connecting dots here. Where there is smoke, there is fire.

Reminds me of one of the greatest movie scenes.

A Bronx Tale, after Sonny and his goons savagely beat the biker gang in Sonny's Bar

LOOK AT ME. I DID THIS TO YOU. REMEMBER ME.

Arkansas has better facilities and NWA blows Oxford away when it comes to thriving. Outside of recruiting radius, which is definitely major, there is nothing that would put Ole Miss ahead of Arkansas.

Clearly the OP was trying to troll because he's emotional right now. No reason to try and justify it.

All I'm saying is that Ole Miss and Arky are comparable programs at this point in time.

Obviously, Ole Miss is about to decline some with coaching regime change and scholarship sanctions.

It wouldn't surprise me, but it doesn't seem like there's much to support the cheating allegations. There's not much there.

Calling hookers and admitting to it doesn't guarantee he is organizing some pay-for-play scheme in relation to his football team.

Maybe he did tho, who knows. All we know is that Ole Miss caught a break with the Nutt lawsuit bc now they can move on.

Ole Miss doesn't have to pay Freeze's buyout. Plus the NCAA has it's scalp and the penalties should not increase much if any.
OM was never going to pay freeze if they fired him. I'm sure there is a morality clause in his contract that he violated. The firing would have been for cause. They just gave him the chance to resign or be fired. He wasn't getting any money either way.

Agreed. I'm not saying there is a connection between the two quite yet, but you have to admit, that this puts the administration in a quandary. Bjork has been supporting Freeze till the ends of days and now he has to continue that support as the NCAA continues to deliver a ruling on infractions.

Dan Mullen is a black hat hacker and cloned Freeze's phone to call an escort service. Makes sense to me.

You accomplished your goal.

This is about as pathetic as your university handling of the NCAA situation. Instead of taking responsibility and admitting fault, you lay the blame on someone else. All Hugh and the University had to do was apologize to Nutt. But that would have required humility, something very short for Ole Miss.

So much for the feared Ole Miss lawyers wrecking Nutt and Leo Lewis. They couldn't even properly redact Hugh's calls.

OM fans call you obsessed as they lurk your forums seeking something to get worked up about and blaming all the woes they brought upon themselves on you. Do they not see the irony?

State may have been obnoxious about it by spamming new threads (I would expect similar trolling from OM if the roles were reversed), but none of this freeze shite is their fault.

Please elaborate.

Where could they possibly move on to?

The poor sap interim coach is looking at a show-cause in few months.

This is like a leper who is glad another finger fell off. Welp, don't have to worry about that anymore

Can't believe Mullen will be on his 4th Ole Miss head coach soon. Mullen really laid waste to that program.

Not recently. Facilities are good at Ole Miss now and the town of Oxford is thriving. Ole Miss is in a better recruiting radius than Arky.

Freeze proved you can win at Ole Miss - the precedent has been set. They have $5M to hire a good coach provided the NCAA doesn't increase penalties.

Petrino showed you can win at Arkansas without cheating on anything but his wife.

Hell, even Nutt won us the west - something you've never accomplished.

I agree, Mullen must have given Hugh the hooker's phone number and prolly even dialed the number for him. Clever that Mullen.

do you honestly think the two aren't intertwined? even if the escorts had nothing to do with recruiting, OM saw this as an out to distance from Freeze in regards to the recruiting stuff.

Silver lining is that Ole Miss will have the best facilities around for a perennial losing team for the next decade. Should help when competing against Memphis, FAU, and La-Lafayette for recruits.
