I know there has been a thread on this already, but he was on my high school baseball team before I graduated, and he and I were really good friends. He's a great kid, and he'll be an incredible baseball player at LSU. Best of luck to him.

Yessir, Drew is third oldest son. He's behind Michael, a sophomore in college who played some baseball at Delgado community college. Then there's Ben, a junior in high school who hasn't committed anywhere yet. After Drew, they have a younger brother Sam.

Did Ben get injured this year? I was looking at his stats and saw that he put up good #s his first 2 years and then only had 26 ABs in 2016

He played RB on the football team but was injured and missed the last half of the season I believe... Stuff like that is a blessing in disguise.. Let's the kid know he needs to focus on his scholarship sport.

Is Drew even any good or was this more of a legacy type offer? I see he isnt even hitting .300 in HS.

He is currently a top 100 prospect in his class so yeah I guess he is decent.

We went 35-1, won the State Championship, and finished the season ranked as high as #2 in the nation. This was last year lol, I graduated in 2015.

Yeah Ben was hurt midway through the season this year, will not play again this season. Tough injury, he's an integral part of the batting order.

Couldn't tell you for sure. I do know that he went 2-4 tonight with 2 hits and an RBI in a playoff game, batting 2nd and playing 2nd base.
