there was no legitimacy in your question. as i said, we want him back yet that has nothing at all to do with the game saturday or seeking some revenge. we were already in the tourney- something bobby very much helped happen, we didn't need that game- you did.

I think kingsley will eventually be an NBA center but he's without question a 4 year player. He's really really raw but the tools are there.

I was there Saturday and Portis walked halfway around the arena thanking/waving at fans after the loss. It looked like a farewell to those at the game
However, I do not blame him whatsoever for going to the league. He deserves it and should have a successful career. The guy has a great head on his shoulders and seems to be improving every week.

Well deserved and pretty easy choice. Until Jordan Mickey's late season slump they were putting up roughly the same numbers across the board. I was hoping that the LSU/Ark game would have been a de facto head-to-head battle between the two for POY. Unfortunately Mickey was hurt and even if he wasn't, he had faded too much by that point to surpass Portis. I'm just glad to see that the voters weren't completely lazy and didn't just go with the perceived "best" player on Kentucky's team
