if Bama had beaten LSU six times in a row...
if Bama was about to sign three of the top four players in Louisiana...
if Bama was about to play for their fifth national title in eight years...

Could you imagine how humbled all those LSU fans would be if all that happened?

Julio has more yards, more YPC, more catches of 20+ yards, more YPG. He has less TDs, but that's because the Falcons set the NFL record for # of different receivers to catch TDs.

Odell did seemingly have a better year than Antonio Brown all around (more yards, more YPC, roughly equal in everything else).

They are clearly the 3 best.

antonio brown was not clearly better than evans

A great point - I don't know how I forgot about Evans. He was fantastic.

Not only will the post itself need to be moved, but the uprights look just a little too far apart.

LSU has a lot of players on the brink and will be back next year. D. Hunter with the Vikings, Tm7 and Peterson will be back. They also will have two instant impact players in Jamal Adams and LF7 depending on what teams they are drafted to.

Deion Jones probably isn't quite All-Pro quality, but with a big step up in his 2nd season he could challenge for 2nd team All-Pro.

He would have to get better against the run. He doesn't grade out that well. He and Kwon both need to get a little stronger and add some good weight.

In addition to the ones mentioned above, other possibilities are: Kyle Williams (a 4-time Pro-Bowler), Jeremy Hill, Andrew Whitworth, Jarvis Landry, Brad Wing, Eric Reid, Delvin Breaux and Kwon Alexander....

LSU also has 2 former players on this year's NFL Hall of Fame ballot: Kevin Mawae and Alan Faneca, along with 2 former Saints: Morten Andersen and Sam Mills.

Yea, LSU and Alabama have about 20-25 guys combined who it would not shock anyone to be All-Pro types next year.

Alabama
- HaHa Clinton Dix
- Landon Collins
- Amari Cooper
- Marcell Dareus
- Dont'a Hightower
- Julio Jones
- Ryan Kelly
- Eddie Lacy
- CJ Mosley

LSU
- Kwon Alexander
- OBJ
- Deion Jones
- Jarvis Landry
- Tyrann Mathieu
- Patrick Peterson
- Spencer Ware
- Andre Whitworth
- Kyle Williams

All of those guys either have been or have flashed Top 3-4 at their position in the NFL type seasons or partial seasons at some point. And that doesn't include 2nd year guys or 2017 rookies (Reggie Ragland, A'Shawn Robinson, Jonathan Allen, Reuben Foster, Jalen Mills, Jamal Adams, Leonard Fournette).

Usually I'd include Georgia there, but a lot of their defensive stars from the Richt era are on the wrong side of 30 (Geno Atkins, Thomas Davis, Justin Houston, Charles Johnson, Reshad Jones).

The influx of in their prime players from LSU and Alabama in the NFL can only compare to the great FSU/Miami programs of the 80's.

It's truly incredible. So many great NFL players, and a slew of solid/starter NFL types as well.
