And Congrats back at Georgia.

Impressive
Wonder how short we are. On top of the Saban era we had 10 win seasons in 1999, 2002, and 2005

It has to be a matter of a game or two. Saban was so far above 10 for so many years that makes me question the stat.

Lets revisit this in 5 years...

It’s the vacated wins under Shula. 16 wins taken from Shula (a 10 and 6 win season) and 4 wins taken from Saban in 2007.
My quick and dirty is 9.64 wins per season over the past 25 years. On the field results are 10.4 wins per season over the past 25.

I checked, you'd be ahead of us by a few wins (I was kind of surprised how close it was) if they counted the Shula wins and Saban wins from 2005-2007

It always made me wonder why Georgia didn't win more NC's until the last few years with Kirby taking them to the promised land. Elite program and has been for some time imo.

We have been consistently good, not sure about elite until Kirby came. Or maybe Saban just raised the bar on what elite is.
We've also been incredibly lucky. It is hard to fire two HOF coaches and have their successor be better than they were.
Hiring can often be a crap shoot as much as we like to pretend it's not. S. Carolina hired FSU's OC and were terrible. We hired the next one and won two SEC titles and 145 games in 15 years.
Florida, S. Carolina and Tennessee all hired former Saban DCs. They were not good. We hired one and have won two NCships and hopefully more to come. I'm thankful.

If AlaBubba hadn't cheated so much (21 wins vacated due to money laundering), they'd be on the list.

Good thing for OU is they have lots to show for it...

I really am impressed with UT fans' dedication--every year they stand and yell about how OU still sucks as they lose to OU in the Cotton Bowl yet again. Gotta admire the grind.
