I dunno- I thought Billy D spent most of the game bitching at the refs last week for no apparent reason considering they were already getting the majority of the calls.
I'll give Cal a casty for it being at the buzzer but Billy wins my overall award. Plus Cal was very nice in his postgame comments.

I've always thought Billy was a nice enough fellow but he bitched all game. It's not an untrue statement.

I'm all for Billy bitching at shitty SEC refs. I don't see the problem. He doesn't look like a big tool like Cal when he does it though. Cal walks all over the place and is very expressive. Billy folds him arms up like a mob boss and threatens the ref with future visits from someone that looks like a James Bond goon/villian.
Our refs suck.
BTW, the foul count was 20 for UF and 24 for Arky. You guys play more aggressive on both ends of the floor. That's pretty damn even IYAM.

I agree with Rtr that's what a lot of good coaches do- I'm just saying I wouldn't crown Cal as king bitcher when the very last game we played had an even bigger bitcher on the sideline. It's not an insult just an observation on who was flapping their gums more.

I honestly don't understand why people are upset with Cal trying to get a tech at the end of the game. Was he just supposed to accept defeat? Who wants that in a coach?

Yeah, I agree. Still time on the clock and people on the court. By rule, that is a technical.
Cal just trying to do what is best for his team, like every other coach would do.

Why did they choose to not call the technical foul then? Why do they get to decide to ignore some rules but enforce others when they have the benefit of replay?

You'll have to ask someone else bc I can't even argue that side- I don't see how anyone who watched the game could legitimately think there should be a tech there. I don't blame Cal for trying tho. The buzzer went off- it's not like there was 5 seconds left and the fans stormed the court.
