@ thinking today's society is the same as that time period. How brainwashed are you? A whopping total of 18 (out of a population of 46+ MILLION) unarmed black people were killed by the police in 2020. Not exactly a hunting spree going on like the narrative would lead us to believe. That's not to say that some of these incidents may not have been cases of police officers using extreme force (those officers should be held accountable) as I don't know the facts of all of them, but this narrative of a mass wide police force just hunting down black people is complete garbage.
For the record, 23 unarmed white people were killed by the police in 2020. I bet you couldn't name a single one.

I could care less if they kneel. I will only kneel to my Savior and Lord, but they can do as they please also.
The problem is, many that kneel to protest don't want me kneeling for the reasons I kneel. I don't care and its ok that they don't care.
That said...it is pretty ridiculous for a bunch of spoon in the mouth white boys attending Colgate to be kneeling. They'll likely soon all be taking jobs with private equity firms, mouthing 'woke' protests while going about a self-centered existence. Again...that's fine...their choice, but the pretend protests of which they know nothing are cute and darn near comical.

Can you fight for human rights without shitting on the country more responsible for the advancement of human rights than any other throughout history? Can we not isolate problems without tossing out the whole?
Because that is how kneeling for the anthem is perceived. Add on top of that the need for a separate anthem altogether, and it really just feels like one side wants nothing to do with this country any longer. If that’s the case, frick em.
