Did some team lock up a BCSCG bid or something...? Because upon further review LSU actually has the toughest road to the title..

Bite it, LSU is not loosing in Tiger Stadium. Unlike Bama, the tigers defend the house. As you are a Bama fan, you confusion is expected.

Not really no.

Do you really think voters would not notice, should LSU lose that is, how absurd it would be to make a BCS title game between Ore and Bama when LSU had already beaten both neither at home?

Yes.. It's ALWAYS been about WHEN you lose... Its amazing how LSU fans have become experts on how voters think, Bama sits firmly at #2 now.

You are correct. Not fair to LSU, but that is the way it is. Life wasn't fair to AU in 2004 either.

Bama will pretty much punch their ticket to the BCSNCG with a win over AU while LSU has to beat Ole Miss (laugh), Arky, and UGA.

Highly doubtful the Ducks jump bama AND they have to beat a dangerous USC as well.

You mean kinda exactly like Mich was #2 to tOSU a couple of years ago?

Okie State losing gave LSU a mulligan not that we need it.

Voters in the BCS era have always looked more closely in the final week of voting when the vote actually mattered.

I think there will be a rematch of some sort regardless of whether LSU wins out or not.

Can't say for certain who gets in with LSU but I clearly recall Mich fans buying up tickets for a BCS title game then getting jumped in the human polls despite not even playing a game.

Voters value conference champions. In the BCS history how many teams that failed to win their conference or for that matter failed to even play in their conference championship game have made the BCS title game?

OU lost a Conf title game one year and made it. Any teams in a conference that has a title game but failed to even play in it go? Ask UGA about that from a few years ago.

Voters are fickle especially in final week.

Life may not be fair, but the BCS will do what it was supposed to do from the start of the season...
It will place the number 1 team against the number 2 team at the end of the year...whoever that is.
We at this time just don't know who that is, alot
of football left to be played.

Yeah but how do you arrive at a clear number 2 of several one loss teams, 2 of whom lost already to a possibly undefeated SEC champion LSU team?

The BCS is supposed to pit 1 v 2, but deciding who that is may be difficult, especially in context of the rematch debate. I edit this post now realizing that Iowa State DID beat Okie St. Wow.

So,it's no longer a hypothetical no undefeateds remain besides us, and we have a tough row to hoe.

Oh it will be a mess, LSU fans just need to hope that we win out and play whoever is number 2.
A real mess would be if LSU drops one...

LSU has had the toughest road to the title from week 1. We'll be there. Enjoy your extra week to prepare. You're going to need it.

For Arkansas it's more like Russian Roulette with a loaded pistol. Wilson will soon be our DLine's bitch.

Yes, this would be completely absurd - which is why the BCS would probably allow it to happen. #cantApplyLogicAndReasontotheBCS
