Starting quarterback Austyn Carta-Samuels and reserve tight end Dillon van der Wal have been subpoenaed as witnessess for the state. Offensive lineman Jake Bernstein, wide receiver De'Andre Woods and long-snapper Mack Prioleau were also listed by the state as witnesses.

So what is being said here is that they sat there and watched... and did nothing?

Or knew about it (saw pictures or heard about it) and did nothing?

um no. Being a witness can mean a lot of things, and isn't indicative of 'guilt.'

Damn, this is bad. Much more than football at this point. Bunch of jackasses who hopefully get what they deserve if this all comes to light...

Where is the info that the girl was Vandenburg's gf coming from??

It was rumor early on but when asked today they would only say that she had been good friends with one of them.

Do you have any idea why other players are being called as witnesses for the state? Did they possibly witness it or know the details?

That's a really good question. Also will any of them be suspended because of their involvement?

Depends. If they saw it actually happening and did nothing, maybe.

Apparently the one guy showed the pictures or video or whatever to other people. Chances are the other people are the players being named as witnesses.

From what I've read, they have been gone. I'm not sure though.

Eta: I was talking about the 4 rapists.

I hate that we can't convince Arkansas fans to FOIA the university. Damn private schools.

This is what I think too - they were shown the pictures.

The question will be if someone in a position of authority suggested the pictures needed to be deleted. That would take it to a whole new level of ugly. I have no idea if this is the case, but the way they they talked on the radio interview, I think there could be something else there. Tied to the destroying evidence charge on Vandenburg.
