If Aggie is in this thing late, I really thing they stand a puncher's chance. But if Bama goes up by 10-14 early, it's going to to get ugly in a hurry.

Don't know about that, this is a pretty mature A&M team with strong upperclass leadership on O and D. I don't see A&M panicking if they get down by a score or two. Don't expect them to win and certainly a blowout can happen but one of the biggest edges A&M has is a Sr QB vs a Freshman. Hurts has performed great so far but can he keep it up? A&M will likely stack the box and go after him or at least do everything they can to confuse him, likely they are going to force him to win with his arm. He's capable of doing that but you never really know with a Freshman.

That's fine. But if Bama goes up two scores quickly, that means your rushing attack isn't working. Which means you have to rely on Knight throwing.
Senior or not, that guy is a liability if you have to rely on him alone to win.

My only concern is that they had an extra week to rest, heal up and gameplan. That's it. I am excited about this one and I really like our chances. Can't wait really.

Exactly, that's why I don't think we'd abandon the run under any circumstances. Knight is streaky, but you never know.

Alabama hasn't been on the receiving end of a true rout basically since Saban has been the coach. Utah in Saban's second year might have been the closest and that was only a 14 point loss. A&M can win but there is no way it's a rout.

Really looking forward to this game. IMO Sumlin may have to coach his best game ever to pull this one off. Knight will have to repeat his brilliance from the sugar bowl....but the experience is there.
As a dawg fan I greatly envy the relevance of the game....as we will not be relevant in any game...the rest of the year.
Aggies deserve alot of credit the way they have played this year. I wish you good luck on your mission to destory the death star.
