That's when Blake threw the pick deep in the end zone - on 2nd and long.

Saban actually said in his press conference that they wouldn't have attempted a pass like that if it wasn't for the holding call.

The way we were moving the ball on the ground I think we would have punched it in there.

I don't hate the play call though. We had 6'6" vs. 5'9". If OJ wasn't going to come down with that at least he could have played some defense.

Hey OJ, that leather thing flying right towards you in the air? Yeah, you're kinda supposed to at least put your hands in the air and try to grab onto it. Yeah, the run was working, but Ole Miss wanted it more, played harder, and deserved to dance all over the field. I'm afraid we may see a few more field - rushes. Bama is everybody's Super Bowl.

OJ has the tools - just to get more physical. I think he still needs to add some muscle and quickness on the line.

Also hearing that the gameplan going in, was to feature more of Drake, and that obviously got thrown out when he went down. Offense even got worse when the center went down and the new guy had alot of issues. Knew they were in serious trouble by that point.

For the events that happened, I don't necessarily saw anything wrong with the play calling, besides going a bit conservative to attempt to protect the center and avoid turnovers, which is really not going to make it easy to score points against a good defense.

I wonder if the defense has figured out the bunch formation yet
