When you wrote "aTm at home" I thought you meant "aTm at home". Don't be whiny.

What difference does it really make what a bunch of fans think or have far off the deep end they go during times like these. It's the attitudes of the players and coaches that matters and nothing else. I don't know what circles you guys think "all" Ole Miss fans run in, but the ones I know have sense enough to realize this could all come to a screaching halt in a flash. All my conversations have been tempered and at least somewhat level headed.

I for one have seen enough losses over the years that I get super excited when things are good but not overly upset when we lose. The exception was the end of the Auburn game last year. I was pissed.

I think times have really changed though.

The smaller schools in the sec will all eventually have 1st class facilities and the finances to hire top coaches.

Scoring 70 pts on our first two opponents was impressive. Scoring 43 pts on Bama at home and pulling out the win was also impressive but let's not get carried away. The first two were against weaker teams and Bama had a really bad day at the office. Was it lucky that we beat Bama? No. We forced most of those turnovers. Yet somehow if I had to bet, playing Bama again is a nightmare scenario. Let's hope they do not end up in the final four and we have to play them again.

Listen it is not that we are not good. We are a damn fine football team. Beat Vandy, wait destroy Vandy this weekend, beat Florida away, knock off UPig and Auburn and set up the true test: LSU. If we get through the West, Georgia still awaits. (Little brother, I did not forget you. If we get through LSU undefeated we go to hotlanta, regardless)

All that to say, good on you for the fun ride thus far. Enjoy the moment but come back to earth. Remember last year? Auburn broke our teams heart and Arkansas got sloppy seconds. And then TCU turned us out for the grand finale.

I want to see a few more strong performances before I shoot the moon.

How big of smile did you have when you typed this?

I work with a whole bunch of bear fans. Last year yall had no weaknesses and never did anything wrong. This year it is more of the same but its stuff everyday I hear. If its not a 2017 recruit its about Tunsil's attorney. Or its about Kelly is more focused than Eli. Heck the NCAA was never investigating now they are but not Freeze's bunch because he is a minister.

Yall have the most delusional fan base of any team college or pro. Its all sunshine until you lose. Then there are excuses and next year chants.

I do not think yall will ever be humble...ever.

All I am doing is enjoying this week. We just beat Bama twice in a row and we look good. Do you have any idea how weird it is to hear Bama fans complaining about bad calls after the game? This is crazy. I have no idea what the season will bring. Why not just enjoy the right now? We are not the team, we do not have to focus every day on the task at hand. Enjoy now, hope for the best moving forward and if we get brought back down to Earth, so be it. Just enjoy the ride man.

Weird seeing you away from that other board

It's hard to be humble when you are an Ole Miss fan.

All sarcasm aside.. Thanks for the respect. I dread our November gauntlet.

I think everyone plays their best game against us. We have a young team. It is exciting that we are doing as well as we are.

We shall see. I like the focus of our guys this year. I like the maturity of the players mentally. Of course I loved LF7 and his highlights that looked like it had to be animation, but, more than that, I loved his humble attitude when he was interviewed after the game.

After our heart breaking season last year, I am just thrilled to have a chance.

See you in November. If we beat BAMA and our hearts are still in it, we will give you a run for your money.

Either way, our game this year is setting up to be a classic.

One more point.... you DON'T WANT TO PLAY BAMA TWICE IN ONE SEASON.
We went to the SEC Championship while they sat home and watched us. Wrong on so many levels. That memory STILL pains me.

Yeah I'm not gonna lie. Ole Miss is scary this year. But I think we've got the team that can wear that arse out if we stay healthy and we get some confidence in the QB's passing game. November is going to be a HUGE BITCH. I don't see us getting out of it without at least one loss and it could very easily be to Ole Miss.
