To be fair, if the NCAA puts that post season game in Lexington like it should have been instead of Gary, IN just to appease the B1G folks.

A) No NCAA team called Gary home (they gave it to IU or PU that year)
B) Gary, IN is a shite hole
C) 21 inning game against Kent State was not the HR when you looked at the replay, I think the zebras just gave it to them to end the game.

Is Memphis building a new 50 million dollar facility?

I know this doesn't help my squad out very much , but Vandy being second to last is misleading, considering they are the last SEC team to win the entire CWS. so props to Vandy

Do teams get a trophy for making the CWS? I'm curious.

No, but if they did Florida would have 10 instead of zero.

I think Vandy is in a position of consistency that probably will get back to Omaha on a more regular basis that any other SEC schools; as long as Corben stays. They have it all. Not sure how this year shakes out but we'll see.

Hell, Oklahoma State went 7 or 8 times in the 80s and never won. Their lone title was in the 50s.

Oklahoma has 10 CWS appearances total and 2 resulted in national titles.

I guess making it to the CWS is an accomplishment in itself. IMO, for every 10 appearances, there should be at least 1 title won, unless you're a powerhouse like USC, LSU, Texas, Fullerton.

Teams don't get trophies for a lot of metrics used to track historical success.
