Why bother trying to reason with one that has a provincial point of view.

When's the last time CGD has been to the Big House?
Too much intrigue in this game.
Plus, it's still an option later to have LSU aTm later on.

CBS didn't pick you, either. You should cry about that, too.

Michigan-Michigan State is a rivalry

LSU-Florida is just a game that gets played every year for some reason

National championships since 2003:

UF/LSU = 4
MSU/UM = 0

Also, Florida being "back" offsets Michigan being "back".

Plus with LSU you have the storyline of greatest running back ever going on

I know. We didn't either.

But it does prove that the bean counters at CBS knew that more people care about a one loss Bama team playing at the third best team in Texas than care about an undefeated, top 10 Florida team playing in Baton Rouge against an undefeated, top 10 LSU team in the middle of LF's Heisman run.

Fla vs LSU will be epic, Ala vs Texas AG will be epic, so will Michigan St vs Michigan. I think that the media and fans were craving to some strength from another big team in the Big Ten not named Ohio St. All great games IMHO.

Actually, our fans are thrilled about it. We had them two weeks ago and even Gary mentioned how LSU fans hate CBS days games.

I just watch the SEC nation thing on the SECN, they'll definitely be at the big SEC game. It's like gameday without the on and on buckeye talk.

Michigan/Michigan State is a big game in the B1G. Plues, Michigan has pitched I think 3 shutouts. That alone is impressive. Then put Coach Khaki Pants and now there's the TV hook.

The best options I think would have been
1. where they are going for the above reasons
2. LSU/Florida. LF and the resurgent Gata
3. A&M/Bama but you can't ignore last years 59-0

They're probably waiting for LSU to get someone that can challenge them.

Right, Harbaugh is doing a great job, can you imagine if he was doing it a nationally relevant team and that team was unbeaten with a win over a top 3 opponent?
