UCLA's is about as generic and bad as it gets.
Pretty terrible list, IMO. Although I agree with #1 being a great logo.

Alabama needs to bring back the old school Elephant A.
The new script A is ok, but not as good.
I prefer it by itself though, I don't like the circular border around it, looks too much like a baseball team logo IMO.

Yeah I like this one a lot more than their new script A
Also FWIW I can't stand our old interlocking T logo, supposedly we let Texas pay us a bunch of money not to use it which is fine by me

I'm sure I'm in the minority, but I hate our old logo. Also, we should just drop the circle and words and just use the Script A.
As for Auburn's being original, didn't the take the interlocking AU from us?

Where the frick is the razorback? It's pretty unique and recognizable. edit: and awe-inspiring
Also, since when is BYU's logo recognizable? It's just a Y with blue background. Most of those logos are just a letter and not particularly recognizable. They could be for a high school, and probably are, somewhere.
edit: but I'll say, some letters are good. OU's logo is good, and so it's Auburn's. But the single letters aren't so great. Michigan, Stanford, Washington, and Tennessee don't belong on that list.

Except ours doesn't really look like that (at least our current one) and we were using a script A before the Braves.
