Cowherd is a smart guy. he has learned from Finebaum about how easy it is to troll the gumps and get a full shows worth of content for weeks regardless of media.

Everyone else is in here jizzing at the thought of the upset

No, I'm not Jewish but if you think the media wouldn't play up Bama losing to Auburn in epic fashion followed by an upset loss to Tennessee (who they have beat in nearly a decade) then you're out-gumping yourself

yea that's still really shitty reasoning

I know you're trying to somehow create a scenario where your big Auburn win has something to do with a hypothetical Alabama loss to Tennessee but there just isn't a connection and forcing one is just, well, a lil bat shite crazy. You're giving me a creepy ex-girlfriend vibe on this one

we may very well be upset by Tennessee, that's entirely possible the game is a long way away and any sorts of horrible circumstances could befall my team in the meantime. But if it does happen I want you to understand that it will have nothing, I repeat nothing, to do with you or your Auburn tigers

Very interested to see how Butch does this year in our two biggest rivalry games at home. (UF and UA) His first time getting to play them in Neyland.

He did very well last year in the UGA and SC games and I'd love a very close loss and a win this year as well.

Bear with me guys, this scenario is unlikely, but would be very interesting. for the record, I'm not saying this will happen, I'm just saying it's be great.

If bama comes in with a 5-2 or better record, and UT does the same, UT will most likely be top 15, and bama top 10 or 5. I think gameday would come to Knoxville just because of the craZy emotions going into that game, TSIO actually being important again, the kiffin factor, and that we'd have a legit shot at pulling off the upset. This is of course assuming UT can get over our inexperience hump early. Just my 2 cents

I didn't realize we played Tennessee in the Sugar Bowl.

If Tennessee has a winning record and looks at least halfway decent, Gameday is there no ifs, ands, or buts about it

I guess Alabama will win 3 games in 2014 with all of these predicted upsets.

You can call it what you want but I guarantee that's exactly how it will play out in the national media

Only if we were to play LSU the week before, then we'd be "drained" from such an emotional contest.

As much as I would love for that to happen, Bama's front 7 will eat Tennessee's OL and QB alive

Exactly. I'm not a fan of Bama at all and I'd gladly put down a lot of money on Bama minus 10 in that game today if I could.

If we are 5-2 going into it (remember, this is still part of my dream scenario), we would have seen Oklahoma, ole miss, UGA, and uf, and would have beaten 2 of them. Presumably by then, our line would have matured enough to handle bama.
