Last I saw UGA had the 15th highest SOS. I am not sure what it is now after yesterday but at what point does a schedule stop being "candy arse". Top 10? Top 5? Or do you need to have the hardest schedule in the country?

You gotta get there to play in them, and you get there, and win them with defense more often than not. Alabama wins more Natties than you can shake a stick at, and if you think they have been winning them with elite QB's, then there is no hope for you. Deshaun Watson won one Nattie and now all of a sudden in your world that is the only way anybody has won a National Championship.
In reality, you have deluded yoruself into believing this because you know your team has crap for defense but you have a very good QB, so you have to convince yourself that the only way to win a National Championship is with an elite QB.

You clearly only watched 2016. Every national champion in the past 20 seasons outside of Auburn in 2010 with Cam Newton had a top 10 defense. The only “elite” QBs to win championships were Vince Young, Tebow, Cam, Winston, and Deshaun Watson. Every one of those teams excluding Auburn had a top 10 Defense. Get out of here you child.

I have to go. Looks like you guys have this firmly under control kick that Big XII behind. Shouldn't be too difficult since she believes elite QB's win National Championships and defense does not.

You can't even hold an actual discussion. No one is talking about the Sugar Bowl. We are talking about how everything you have said in this thread is false.

Got back and had to look this thread up. Go tell Alabama they haven't been winning championships then, because their team is built around defense, NOT elite QBs.

Really> wait. Who has won more National Championships than anybody in the last 10 years? They do not have elite QBs. So elite QBs have not been winning National Championships, defense has. It's very simple, really. You do know what you are talking about. You pick a single year or two in which an elite QB won a championship, and all of a sudden that is the way a championship is won. You ignore all the other years in which defense won.
You really need to go find you a BIG XII message board to talk on. i'm sure they will all fall right in line with your way of thinking. they will parrot what you said about the Big XII being innovative while not winning yet another National Championship. You can all give each other great big hugs and console each other while Oklahoma loses yet another game.
