Am I reading this right. Nick Saban voted Stantford ahead of Okie St?

Yes. Along with several others. And, one guy had them in 5th. Stanford should be ranked ahead of Okie State anyway.

OkSt got handed that game on a silver platter. OU didn't even have 2/3 of their offensive weapons.

It's called football. You roll with the punches.

Yep, he was scared..This was the closest vote ever in the BCS between 2 and 3... every vote counted... If the one computer poll made the difference otherwise, bama would have gotten in by 7 votes... 5 of those votes were from folks putting OSU 4th (including Sa$an) or 5th...

Don't have a problem with Saban voting standford ahead of ok st , if that's how he had it the week before...but what is Troy Calhoun smoking... and why doesn't ok st have a vote?? So air force gets a say but not the big 12 champ... this is a great system.... I hope LSU SCORES 80 and throws a hail marry on the last play to boot.

Gundy can't be trusted with a vote.

Have you seen him dance?

Does something like this come out for the Harris Poll?

You can see where Miles' loyalty lies. SEC (Bama and Arky votes) and Michigan (voted #8)

true, their body of work is just phenomenal...not to mention almost a double digit asskicking by oregon

good to see the Bama delusion is starting to make a comeback after the fear of missing out is gone.

So when Standford beats OSU in the Fiesta, will that satisfy you or will Saban still be unfair?

Not important....It's all about the "eye test", stupid.

BAMA = Popularity contest champions

Gary Pinkel is heading into the SEC the right way.....

LSU
Bama
Stanford
OSU

I'm glad he gave Saban a call to double check his ballot before he sent it in.

And what if Okie State curb stomps Stanford? Will Saban stand up and admit he was wrong?

what would an exhibition do to prove anything.

I'd say that I think what Saban and Miles did in this situation really embodies a lot about what the two men stand for and how they handle themselves, but the reality is we have no idea who even did this poll. It could be some overzealous GA in the football ops building.

Its an absolute joke that a coaches poll is used as a third of this formula.

Stanford had two tough games on the year, they were thoroughly embarrassed by Oregon, and if you watched the USC game...USC had multiple opportunities to put that game away..Stanford was fortunate to come away with a win.

I think it will be a good game..but I don't see either defense being competitive.

Incorrect. It has already been reported that if every coach who voted Ok State 4th or 5th had voted them 3rd instead it wouldn't have been enough to make up the difference.

If coaches who ranked OSU 4th/5th moved up to 3rd, still would NOT have put it in BCS title. Worth .0016. Lost by .0086

No way in hell Stanford is over Okie Lite. Stanford's schedule is a huge joke and the only good team they played destroyed them. Not much justification for that vote IMO (other than the obvious to try to get bama in). Probably explains why he was so defensive last night on the show.

Miles on the other hand has big balls and don't give a shite, just like the badger.
