And LSU still can't afford Jimbo.

Jimbo chose your LSU grad AD and $$$, not a7m. He's choosing retirement over titles. That's all a7m is good for because you're desperate to be relevant. Guaranteed 10 yr contact. Idiots. You didn't learn from Chief nor Sumlin deals. Manziel is the perfect mascot for all things a7m. His entire family situation represents you perfectly.

Aggy is more embarrassed of their Heisman than USC and their murdering, award winner.

Arnsparger and Dietzel went on to become Athletic Directors. Where's that category? How many A&M head football coaches went on to a job where they hire and fire head football coaches?

we weren't dumb enough to pay him that stupid contract like A&M was..; good luck with that after he craps the bed.

Let's examine things here over the last 100 years:

My oh my you've spent a lot of time thinking about this...

but is that necessarily true compared to LSU?

All I see is that yet again LSU is the benchmark for A99Y athletics.

Nuff said. That is more than aTm has produced in its entire existence. STFU

More than A&M has produced in its entire existence?

R.C. Slocum alone had 8 assistants become head coaches (Toledo, Davie, Sumlin, Allen, Sherman, Tuberville, Kragthorpe and Bennett)

One of those (Tuberville) has done something no BCS/Playoff era LSU head coach has ever done - have an undefeated season.

Seems like LSU fans hate to be reminded that Aggie has had more success over its history

1939 is A&Ms only legitimate claim. But it is legitimate. USC and Tennessee can frick off.

Tennessee doesn't claim it. USC went back and claimed it during the Carroll years.

Yeah, let Aggy have this one if it means so much to them.

Not many people could have given a crap in 1918 and your NC must have gotten lost with the end of WW1.

And who could have cared in 1939 when the great depression was winding down. So maybe it was only you guys playing against yourselves.

Bernie Moore after the end of his tenure at LSU, became the SEC Commissioner from 1948–1966.

BTW SEC football teams play for the Bernie Moore trophy.

I can go down the list of coaches for you, but the one stat you do not want to see is the number of National Championships of x coaches by LSU and A&M.
