LSU isn't playing down to competition, offense is also playing up to its potential for once. Those were the things fans hated about miles

Now miles can build a roster and assemble a great staff. O is inheriting that roster and staff and doing well by reducing practice time and letting his staff do their jobs.

Would O have a similar caliber roster and staff after 3 years of being the head man is the question, I don't know the answer.
As he feels more in charge of the program would he start getting more involved in the game planning? I don't know that either

I can assume he would recruit well, I don't know what it's like to work for him. He'll have LA/TX talent base, and as high of budget for assistants as anyone.

Oh I don't know. Three and zero. Averaging over 500 yards per game. Getting the most out of our talent. Shorter practices and looking more crisp in the games. If Les was coaching we would have no chance. Not the case now.

Very rarely does any team, especially one with high expectations and lots of talent, get to experience 2 head coaches in the same season. It's very easy to compare the before and after with Miles because it's with the exact same players and assistants ( other than Cameron) and the same playbook. (Even though Miles reduced it drastically). The immediate difference can be seen by literally everyone that has closely followed LSU. It doesn't have anything to do with who they've played. The list is a mile long...play calling, multiple receiver routes, formations, energy on the sidelines, few penalties, etc etc. LSU fans are not excited that they've beaten Missouri, Southern Miss, and Ole Miss. They're excited because of how this team has played. Only those who have cringed on the edge of their seats for the last 12 years under Miles would understand. Football is fun again. Win or lose.
