re: Coach O showing great sportsmanship after the win

It appears his bosses were not too pleased with his “f*ck ‘em” comment after last year’s game.
This isn’t like Derrick Brown is going to be all pro because Coach O gave him a pep talk after the game.
You people act like Vince Lombardi was encouraging them, when, in fact, it was
more akin to Butch Jones jumping into the App State huddle after they lost to UT.
Those kids don’t give a shite what O had to say to them, he was just performing for the cameras.
Dude showed his true colors before, and placating to AU’s d-line doesn’t change it.
That said, the dude has proven me wrong as a head coach, and I believe he will make LSU a consistent contender.

I also don’t like him because a guy, who is about 10 years younger than me, who lived down the street from my parents, walked on at OM. He had earned a scholarship from Houston Nut in 2004. Ed O revoked it when he arrived. Pretty bullshite move, actually.
So, if you can provide a link where O’s F’em comment was not about AU, I’ll concede I was incorrect about that.
I’ll also admit that people change, and he might not be willing to screw a kid out of a scholarship and dream he worked extremely hard for, anymore.
He’s a good (could be great) coach, but telling a bunch of future NFL linemen they played like NFL linemen, after you just got a W isn’t the epitome of class.

We beat y’all and started the season 4-0 with two top 10 wins. Miami obviously ended up being fools gold.
Devin White was on Facebook live and they started it by saying everyone who doubted us and one of the guys in the locker room said “frick them” it got kinda quite and O said frick dem is right.
Referring to the national / local media. That’s why the theme last year was “block out the noise”.
It’s a compliment to how big the win over your team was.

Saban is cranky and can be an unrelenting a-hole to his players and coaches....but I get it, he’s trying to be the best he can be. He handles himself with class most of the time.
On the other hand, Mullen is a classless piece of repeating shite. It’s a shame cause he’s a good x’s and o’s Coach. I think that’s what will hold him back from ever being a great coach.
