It’s so weird he’s the coach now. He has been public enemy number one for Razorback basketball since I was a kid. Literally the first game of basketball I can remember watching was the season 94-95 season opener against UMass. The pinnacle of hog hoops and he absolutely beat our arse. Dad was not a happy camper that night.

At the announcement when they were done and the crowd wanted to do the hog call, he said “I’m going to go thank the coaches” and ran off stage. Thought that was funny.
I have no problem admitting that the forced hog call outside of a packed arena/stadium watching a game is pretty awkward.
Most in game traditions would be.
