Delete this before the Kentucky AD sees it and wants to fire him.

But wait - there’s more.

Matt Jones has officially turned on him:

quote:

Calipari said in his own book that when Tubby/Billy won 2 NCAA Tourney games in 4 years and lost 27 in two years, “that’s not supposed to happen in Lexington”

He has now won 1 NCAA Tourney game in 2 years and lost 47 games in 4 years

That’s not supposed to happen in Lexington

Does the overall record and tourney record include the vacated final four seasonS at Umass and Memphis?

lifetime contracts do not work. Neither does coach in waiting

Yep. Saban’s the only dude I’ve seen that wouldn’t get a little complacent.

Calipari getting bit by his own hubris. Shocker.

UK basketball is just meow taking its next leg down into the abyss. Stay tuned

Barnhart didn't hire Cal, and he can't fire him either.

You would think ADs would be savvy enough to never give lifetime contracts.

Kentucky screwed themselves.

I think Cal is going to get a fire lit under his arse for one more run at a title then he's done.

It’s time to recall Frank Howard’s (former Clemson FB coach for youngsters) “They gave me a lifetime contract then several years later declared me legally dead”.

Don’t forget the 9-16 season. Losses to double digit seeds.

Ten loss Tubby as he was called was much better his last four years with much less talent.

Cal excuses his inexplicable regular season losses because he is “building for March”. Well his own definition of success has bit him in the arse.

He has lost the fan base. He is not a humble man like Tubby or a home boy like Joe B Hall so there is no sympathy.

He did great things. He was handsomely rewarded for it. Now, he has lost his touch, he can’t win with incredible talent. It is time to do the right thing and retire. I could respect that. But if he hangs on he is no better than a thief.
