He was known the second he stepped in campus at USC. He was the number 1 recruit and he has been the best player on the field for USC from day1. They don't make athletes his size with his speed and power. There is a reason he will be a high draft pick. Teams aren't going to draft a guy for making one big hit. He had 13sacka last year and at times looked unstoppable. If he had injury issues this year or production issues doesn't change the fact that a healthy Clowny is probably the best player in the nation. His game vs UGA a few years ago was insane. He will be a star.

You realize that ESPN just replaced Manziel with Clowney after the season started right?

That scout sounds like a lemming or he works for ESPN

He's handled the intense spotlight very well from the time he was a freshman in high school until now. He's never got an attitude

He's been double and triple-teamed all season long and never complained or taken credit away from his teammates who are the benefactors of said double and triple teams
Didn't he do exactly this after the loss to UGA saying the coaches weren't putting him in a position to be successful.

It is a fact that he mailed his last season in at USCe. That is pathetic. I hope TB doesn't have the opportunity to draft him.

Bob McNair, the owner of the Texans, is a Gamecock. He's already got two or three former Gamecocks on that team who have excelled ... they are not the problem. He's going to draft Clowney - that is a bankable assumption, a foregone conclusion.

God I hope so. The Rams will turn a #2 pick into quarterback gold again. Cha-ching!!

Please. Clowney doesn't have the attitude to try and curbstomp players on the field. Haynesworth was just a tPOS that didn't deserve that much money anyways

Clowney plays hard. Anyone saying he doesn't isn't watching him play. You have to be retarded, just looking at stats (see retarded), or just listening to ESPN to think Clowney is dogging it out there

Haynesworth didn't do that until he was in the NFL. I guess we'll just have to wait and see if Clowney has similar behavioral traits.
