The bench was awesome too. Jay Heard had an awesome freshman year. Too bad he developed asthma and ended up transferring out.

Didn't Fishback have a really funky 3 point shot that was basically like a lob from behind his head?

Auburn and their damn bandwagons.

Gus probably already feels forgotten.

Just kidding, you guys are very blessed with coaching talent.

Go to hell.

I still have mine. The arena was electric back then! Hopefully it will be back soon.

I was there at the old beard eaves from day 1. First game under Ellis, I was one of the first 500 people in line and got the original orange cliff dweller t-shirt. Raised hell right under the basket the entire time I was a student through the 2000 season.

Yes. Fishback had a funky shot.... He was kentucky's mr basketball his senior year, but didn't have an offer from UK. He was one of my favorites as a kid.

That was an epic beat down in the first 10 minutes of the game. It looked about like an NBA team playing a high school team.

7, 8 hell I don't know...

I was in high school when cliff started at AU though. First cousin was 4 years older and a student at AU. He and I were close and I started going to iron bowls, bball and football games and sitting in the student section from early high school.

That was far and away the best Auburn team I can remember. I remember Alabama having a small lead most of the game at Tuscaloosa that year. About midway through the 2nd half Scotty Pohlman went completely insane hitting 3s. We went from being up about 5 points to down 15 in literally about 3 minutes. Even really good Auburn teams rarely ever win in Tuscaloosa but that Auburn team could flick a switch and go beast mode at any moment. They ended up winning by about 18 which shows just how good that team was.
