Hey now we didn't start this one but I admit we are some attention whoring bastards on twitter. Cain't help it as we are hooked in as a group for both good and bad.
The 'gimmick' thing is really overstated tho. That shite is meant for internal consumption and has been around for years; y'all are just now noticing since the media is starting to show us some love.
Also, we're not at fault for the headline stealing. I'd much rather be less hyped than we are but the media is all about us for now.

I'll grant you that you've had a few good WRs of late (so have we) but please try and be objective for once. You're being a total homer. Having some recent success at WR should be enough for you. No need to ruin it by going full-homer and make baseless claims. Build from where you're at.

I don't know why I bother wasting my time with delusional people that dwell on numbers from decades ago but let me enlighten you.
Number of Wide Receivers drafted by the NFL
Since 1990:
Tennesse - 21
LSU - 19
Since 2000:
Tennessee - 9
LSU - 15
Since 2010:
Tennessee - 3
LSU - 6
The numbers reveal that Tennessee has no more of a claim to being WRU as LSU. In fact, the trend exposes Tennessee as a has been in terms of producing WR talent. You have to look back twenty five years to even surpass the draft numbers of LSU. Tennessee isn't even close to producing as much wide receiver talent as LSU over the past decade. So yeah, this is now "/over"

I'm not the one calling LSU WRU or pointing to the number of drafted wide receivers over the past 25 years acting as if it means anything to today's football landscape. You can deflect and make excuses for the numbers but the fact still remains, calling Tennessee WRU isn't even backed by the numbers.

Geniuses like you make straw man arguments and conveniently leave out the point of my post. You have to look back TWENTY FIVE YEARS to make your case for being something in football when the age of your recruits is 17-18 and your oldest football players weren't even alive back then. Based on these numbers LSU is more relevant as a producer of NFL WR talent starting 20 years ago. Nebraska's reputation earned less than two decades ago has zero impact on their program today.
