I mean really, each and every SEC school can point to at least a couple things they can bring to the conference. Never would a charter member be kicked out, if for some reason we had to downsize, they would start with the most recently accepted schools.

Would likely win it each year. They win 10+ in the SEC, would be 12+ in the ACC. Easy.

Why do fans use the tv market argument? How much of that money is going to YOU? SEC is the best conference so yall should want the best competition

As a fan I want my program to make the most money possible for the best facilities.

Clemson and FSU are a better fit than Mizzou.
Vandy & Kentucky aren't really a very good fit either.

However, it's got nothing to do with "Fit" and everything to do with money & TV market.

The Missouri TV market will be as much of a dry well as Boston College was to the ACC. Boston, like Kansas City is a Pro-Town and Missouri Football is not on their radar. College Football fans want to watch good games.

I'm wondering if the endgame has something along the lines of Mizzou wanting to go to the Big 10.

That gives the SEC the chance to add 3 more schools to get to the 16 team power conference.

IMO, 14 is the right number... hell 12 was the right number. But you could add both virginia or oklahoma schools and pick off West Virginia.

I'd like to see some North Carolina representation, but they're much more ACC oriented.

I think they kind of fit in culturally speaking. They are to USCe as Auburn is to Alabama. A beloved red headed step child.

In what universe is Clemson, South Carolina's red headed stepchild? Sure, they've had the upper hand the past few years. No denying that. But let's be real here... Clemson has won 18 conference championships and a national title. What has South Carolina ever won in 120+ years of football? One conference championship, ever. Clemson owns the all time head to head record, that includes the first 60 or so years that the game was played EVERY year in Columbia. Clemson even owns the head to head in their own stadium. Sure South Carolina has a 4 year streak going, for only the second time ever in series. Clemson has accomplished that feat 4 times, just in my lifetime. Let's not forget South Carolina almost made it to the 21st century without ever winning a bowl game, a noble accomplishment indeed. Clemson has won more bowl games then they've even been to. Don't let those idiots down in Columbia fool you.

Probably because their fan base is about 1/5 the size and only one corner of the state.

You're going off that?
Do you really think Miami has that many "fans" in FL?

From that chart, both Mizzou & Nevada are >>>>>> than ND.

South Carolina's "fanbase" is comprised mainly of bandwagon fans that have magically appeared out of nowhere the past couple years. This state didn't care about Gamecock football until about 4 years ago.
