What a load of garbage. They sign a grant of rights with a term that runs to 2036 and then argue that the grant only applies so long as they are in the conference. That's laughably bad. Is that what FSU is saying in their suit?

And, contrary to the title, Clemson didn't join FSU's suit; they filed their own suit in South Carolina. Maybe they didn't have faith that the judge in Tallahsassee was going to hometown the ACC (or that appellate courts in Florida would uphold such a ruling). Obviously, they are counting on home cooking and not the merits of their claim.

Bill Arnsparger despised FSU and everything they stood for .... as did Ray Graves before him and Steve Spurrier, who carries more weight than any of them as well as Jeremy Foley whom Arnsparger had walk us through the entry process during their transition of power at UF.

No Gator AD people wanted FSU in the conference. Mike told me straight up that UF, SC, UT, KY and UGA would never allow FSU or CU in this league.

Both had their chances ... both snubbed the opportunity. Clemson could have left the ACC for free, FSU could have joined the SEC for free.
