It's amazing to see all these supposedly big-time programs (obviously not you, USCe fan) complaining nonstop about Clemson and Texas. Show some pride and quit being bitches. This isn't girls basketball.

Let's use the right adjective...we are amused. It's pretty funny that a butthurt kid going to a program that had been dominated to the point where a mercy rule should have been in affect to stop the beating decided to make these comical remarks which has now painted a Bulls Eye on him for his time at Carolina...
Now if someone from Florida State for example made that comment we wouldn't be laughing.

You are one of the better Clemson posters and I generally like your humor, but step away and look at your fanbase for a second. Your fanbase went from being Dukes of Hazzard to Chrisley Knows Best in my lifetime. And it starts at the top: the fans have adopted the holier-than-thou, faux religious shtick of your head coach.

Dabo makes 3 of our 4 coaches since Danny openly religious guys; I never cared enough about West to even know whether or not he was. So that part is true. I also agree that fan bases take on the persona of big-personality coaches. I used to chew Red Man and wear my hat way back like Danny Ford. I bet a lot of Coors Light and visors were sold in Cola and UF when Spurrier was there, houndstooth for Bama, stuff like that.
Really though, Dabo has played the "us against them, nobody believes in little ol Clemson" game to the hilt, and that's created a rallying cry for many. It's the old we'll show you type of thing.

When I was a kid I used to wear my dad's Joe Morrison black Gamecock hat way up like Danny and I'd get packs of Big League Chew to imitate him during Clemson games.

LSU turned up the heat on etienne after the clemson offer. They wanted him and didn't think they had to work for him until clemson offered and he visited

As I've mentioned before. I moved to SC in 2000 and could care less about either school's football program. However, it didn't take me long to realize just how different the two fan bases are. Again, I was an outsider and after a few years I'd come to the conclusion that a large number of Clemson fans that I interacted with, seemed to be a little snooty. I would almost compare them to Ole Miss fans in that uppity sense.
USCe fans were more down to earth, blue collar. When USCe was beating Clemson, the USCe fans I knew didn't go out of their way to talk trash. When Clemson would beat USCe, it was all I heard at work.
I could still care less about either football program, but I definitely prefer USCe fans.
