What an asinine statement but that is normal for a gump. She has played in 128 games and still hasn't scored more than Pete did in 83 games. Pete averaged 44 points a game and she is averaging 28 points a game.

What makes this troll thread so great is that ~11 months ago many of the same people taking the bait were celebrating a WNCAA Tournament title.

Almost half of clark's made baskets were 3's. Just imagine is one third of Pete's made baskets were 3's.
Oh and then Pete did in 3 years averaging over 44 points a game. That record will probably never be touched.

Clark is in her fourth year. Maravich compiled his total in three. So Clark has had an extra year.
Furthermore, Clarks' points scored in her freshman year count toward her total.
The 715 points Maravich scored in his freshman year DO NOT. He'd have over 4,300 otherwise.
Not to mention Clark has had the benefit of the three-point line, Maravich did not.
Also, Maravich averaged 44% from the field, Clark 46%, with over half being 3-pointers! Not sure where the 'Clark is a lot better shooter than Pete was' drivel started.

I think Clark needs to play a 5th year (Covid) to really put some distance on all the college basketball stats. She's probably more popular now and getting more in endorsements than she would at the WNBA level, especially since she's breaking all these records. I'm sure there would be plenty more to break next year.

Pistol Pete had no freshman year. They were not allowed to play. Anyone with half a logical mind knows that Pistol Pete was the greatest college basketball player, ever. One of a kind and no one to this day has ever come close to his imagination and creativity on the court, much less the guy was averaging 44 points a game. Only one Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.
