Doesnt make complete sense but I think I got the gist of it. If his meniscus wasn't torn then it wouldn't be detached. They did a meniscus repair because it was torn/detached off the bone. That's not good about the lcl. From what it sounds like it was a complete tear and I'm surprised they used a carver graft vs his own. I'd like to read the legit op note lol

Hope Chubb makes a speedy and full recovery. That injury was one of those that were hard to watch, like Lattimore, Prothro, and the Louisville basketball player a couple of years ago.
