We had arguments for two years about who was better between Chubb and fournette and now Chubb cant even beat out last years second string RB at lsu? Stupid arguments are stupid.
Guice and Fournette are better than Chubb every day of the week

I was unaware they were competing for a spot.

There was a legitimate argument 2 years ago. Chubb was awesome, but I think it's fair to say he hasn't been the same since his injury, and it's dumb to compare what he is now to what he was prior and think it's some "boom roasted" moment.
ETA: Fournette even said Chubb was better in their freshman seasons, so there's that too.

Fournette sucks, CLM got shite canned on his watch, and LF is a bitch for sitting out the bowl game. I am sure leonard will go on to do great things in JAX- going to be a flop just like that hill kid who got a bj from a 12 year old and stayed on the team by a "team vote."

Which one blew out their knee in a cringeworthy accident and returned less than a year later to rush for over 1000 yards?

Labor Day weekend can't get here fast enough...

Stamina is a factor. Sorry fournette has that and Chubb doesn't

chubb is a little flacid... fournette is a beast

Fournette has so much stamina he sat out a bowl game.

He probably would have played if the SEC leading rusher wasn't healthy

You know it wasn't a good argument, when it only works after a knee gets bent backwards.

Well, Chubb had two better seasons than Fournette

It's not good form to in any way insult Chubb.
He is an awesome human being. Karma will suck broseph.

Anyone who thinks Chubb is a scrub needs their head checked

Who said he is a scrub? Just because he is third best in a great pool of running backs doesn't mean he's a scrub

Chubb broke 100 on Bama (albeit mostly on a big run in garbage time).
Fournette only managed to ruin his own Heisman campaign against the Tide.

On a rainy day when it was locked up in the second quarter. I was at that game

2 awesome RB's. it's a crime to insult either one.
loved fournette, would've loved to have a guy like chubb on our roster. helluva runner.

The downpour of rain that day was probably what contributed to my melting. Goddamn, that game sucked.

2016 was a little disappointing for Chubb, but our offense was horrible. I'm not sure any other RB would have had a great year at UGA last year. Consider these UGA rushing numbers to understand how inept our offense was at times, mainly when defenses just loaded up to stop the run because they had no fear of getting burned.
Missouri 38 rushes for 101 yds, 2.66 ypc avg
Tennessee 46 rushes for 181 yds, 3.93 ypc avg
Vanderbilt 35 rushes for 75 yds, 2.14 ypc avg
Florida 19 rushes for 21 yds, 1.11 ypc avg.
Auburn 43 rushes for 135 yds, 3.14 ypc avg.
Nicholls Frickin' State 39 rushes for 167 yds, 4.28 ypc avg.
I expect Chubb to be closer to his old form this year, because he was obviously in pain at times last season and another year of healing and conditioning will help. But Smart, Chaney, Pittman, and Eason will play a big part in determining if we can use all these nice RB's to any decent effect.
