Well this is awkward. A player running basically straight up is not tackled by 3 players with lower centers of gravity.

Momentum and angles folks.

Chuckie Keeton was pretty damn good his first two seasons. If he wasn't so injury plagued at the end of his career he'd be holding a clipboard in the NFL.
I think he's QB coach at Oregon State now. I wouldn't be surprised if he became a pretty good coach

That Utah State team also had Robert Turbin and Bobby Wagner.
Not bad for a WAC team

To be fair, Jake does have the lowest center of gravity humanly possible there

Not that I disagree or agree with you or TT, but those were hardly heads up tackling. Everyone of those tacklers went for his feet maybe one hit just below the knee.

This thread is about head on running and tackling.

That was a good attempt but falls short for this threads purpose. I'm sure you can find one that backs your point better than that.

He really is. It's a 24/7 kind of thing.

He's that guy that never really played a sport, but he thinks he knows the methodology behind various aspects of said sports.

Haha Clinton-Dix decides to go high on Rob Gronk, loses.

ETA: Not that it matters. You ignore simple logic and physics. Done arguing.

Yes. I'm the dumb one. Meanwhile auburn fan thinks center of gravity is the main factor in tackling.

Nope, not momentum. Mass x velocity? Nah that doesn't matter.

I'll say one thing. This board does make me feel smart most of the time.

Being run over by big Kam is probably like a Looney Toon cartoon where you see a bunch of dust and shite and come out with bandaids and tore up clothes. Running into Bo is probably similar to being run over by a car. Both would be painful.

The best way to answer this is to compare film. I aint gonna to be a homer and say Chubb punished way more defenders over his career even with time missed recovering from an injury.

Probably Pettway. Chubb and Bo are fragile.

Chubb played a full season last year and over 1000 yards.

We will see this year when Bama makes it what, 7 in a row. LOL lsu is irrelevant. This board should be for real contenders.
