Didn't allow a single first down in the first half. How is that not ready to play?

I didn't hear enough about Carter or Bellamy to know anything about them, so I bet coming back is a smart move for them.

I would've thought Chubb would go Pro, but I guess he wants to prove his knee can hold up and see if he can increase his draft pick. There was a very substantial drop in YPC from pre to post knee injury. It's a risk though, but at least he'll get a degree to fall back on.

Sony is good, but I guess he's trying to improve his stock/draft too.

He must really not be confident in his knee and doesn't think he can prove to NFL scouts at the combine he was what he used to be.

I would argue the exact opposite. Staying proves confidence.

This is big for Georgia and if Chaney can get the scheme right and the o line plays well. Georgia will be scary

I wasn't commenting on the ready to play part, that was the LSU guy. Game was closer in the first half for sure. But you cant claim a moral victory in a 32 point loss. I know Vols fans have tried similar things but it doesn't work

I watched that game ya'll got smoked. You lost by 32 dude, you didn't score after the 1st quarter

The talent gap between LSU and Georgia in 2011 was absurd.

With Stidham at AU and the inevitable thrashing from UF, Kirby will need all the help he can get.

I'm confused. We have THREE excellent players coming back, yet you assume the annual thrashing will continue.....yet Auburn adds one player and you believe they will break our annual thrashing. Up until this part of your post, I could see where you were coming from.

Carter, IMO, was misused earlier in the year. As the year wore on, he became a factor and started piling up stats toward the end of the year. Bellamy needed to come back. He was solid, but not great. He has potential to do some special things, but he needs one more year.

Agree with all of this. Part of the YPC problem was the OL. Hopefully we will have some of that ironed out. He's a good kid and nobody wants to see him struggle. Seems like two of the SEC quality/character guys have been hurt by injuries. (Lattimore and Chubb)

It's a deep draft for RBs this year, and Sony, playing behind Chubb, just hasn't had a chance to show what he can do.

Go look at our 2013 class and tell me recruiting wasn't a problem.

You know so little, and you don't even know it. Just tune into this NFL draft.

Good news for UGA. UGA and UF should have a good battle for the east next year.

There's been about 15 posts in here that are so off base an uninformed that I've thought about replying to but just left it alone and kept on going.

One thing that helps keep me even keeled reading people's thoughts about UGA on here is to remember...that most people are idiots.

Chubb wasn't going to sniff the 1st round, Leonard will be a top 10 pick.

Big difference.

Chubb's sniffed 100 yards rushing vs. Bama

Big difference
