Good pickup if so. Black has a lot of latent talent but could never quite break the rotation. I wish him the best of luck with Missouri.

I'm glad for Chris. Early on his career, he showed flash of insane ability. He just caught the injury bug and never seemed to be able to get back on the field. I was kind of hoping to see him go to a place like Texas Tech or Another place that throws it 50 times a game, so that he'd get plenty of opportunities. Mizzou seems like a weird choice, but I don't know what the position depth chart looks like.
I am kinda surprised he transferred to another SEC school. Are schools allowed to place any kind of restrictions on grad transfers? If so, I coils could still see Mizzou as one if the few places Saban would allow in conference.

You can't restrict a grad transfer.
I'm sure he saw the fact that our WR sucked last year and he thinks he can come in and make an impact. He only has one year left and if he wants to get to the next level he needs to make it count.

I figured you couldn't. I hope he gets a thousand years next year. He seemed to be very well liked by Saban from his recent comments.

Me too. He'll have every opportunity to start and really be the #1 WR. We return two starters, but both were inconsistent at best last year. So it's all out there for him if he can get it.
